Hi, I'm Rowan.

I'm not a fan of being in front of the camera (You can thank one of my old students for the photo on the left), but have been behind one since I can remember. Growing up along the rural landscapes of Pembrokeshire I would often be found shadowing my dad whilst he scouted locations for his latest watercolour paintings.

Learning directly from a master of light in his own medium, I took inspiration by picking up my camera and snapping whatever I could refining my eye, style and post processing skills whenever I had a chance.

Fast forward and after years of honing my skills, a BSC in Film Production and running multiple media production companies, I have shot in excess of 300 weddings, worked with the BBC, had my work featured on the BBC, Channel 4 and ITV. I work with some of the industries leading camera and gear companies using their gear, testing and refining things as well as being a regular writer for an international magazine discussing my work, equipment and what it's like to work in this industry.

Now that I have reached a point in my career where I've been fortunate to tick a lot of my goals off, found true love and been successful in other business ventures I've taken a step back to find more balance between career and family. This is one of the reason that I'm continuing to push my wedding work as it is by far one of the most rewarding jobs that I do. Being able to spend time with people on one of the happiest days of their lives and experiencing it by their side is an honour.

I love sharing those moments and more importantly capturing them. It's crazy to think about how many couples or great grand children out there will look back in 50 or 100 years at photos that we captured.

To be able to provide that snapshot, that memory, is not only a huge responsibility, but also one of the greatest things that I have the pleasure of doing for a living.
